Dr. Horne is a highly
qualified and skilled neurosurgeon who emphasizes compassion, integrity, and individuality
with patients.
Dr. Horne received his B. A. in Chemistry at Washington
University in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1982. In 1987
he completed a Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology at Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana.
He graduated Washington University Medical School in 1990 with Medical Doctorate.
Dr. Horne is a leader in stereotactic surgery of the brain and spine. He is among a handful of surgeons in the U.S. pioneering the application of robotic surgery to make spine surgery safer for patients. His skills encompass a broad scope of neurosurgery from brain and spinal tumors to surgery for degenerative spinal conditions. He has specific expertise in cervical spine surgery including cervical disc replacement, minimally invasive and motion sparing surgery, and kyphoplasty. |
